Activities of the Baja Sea Food Expo 2011.
Undoubtedly the most important meeting point for all stakeholders in the fisheries sector in the northwest of Mexico.
The inauguration was in charge of the State Governor, José Guadalupe Osuna Millán, who along with the Mayor of Ensenada, Enrique Pelayo Torres and other distinguished officials, made a tour through the exhibition area.
Buyers from department stores, supermarket chains and members of the restaurant industry, came to know the fishery and aquaculture products in their different presentations: alive, fresh, frozen and processed.
The total of attendees into the exhibition area was over 2 thousand people.
“The budget increase for fisheries and aquaculture could reach the milestone of 400 million pesos on 2012”, José Guadalupe Osuna Millán, Baja California State Governor.

Conferencia Magistral:
The master conference that was held on September 23, 2011, was hosted by Eng. Tomás Horche Trueba, International Director of Mercasa, Spain.
This conference, where he spoke about the Success Story of Mercasa for seafood marketing, was attended by officials and businessmen from the fisheries and aquaculture sector, as well as stakeholders interested in the area.
