Activities of the Baja Sea Food Expo 2011.
With the categories of “Cold Fish” and “Hot Mix” chefs from around the country were called to participate in this contest organized by the Gastronomy and Enology School of UABC, and the Ensenada delegation of Canirac.
The characters that made up the judging panel were Miguel Ángel Quezada, Chef Instructor of the restaurant Le Cordon Bleu; Jorge Córdova, Flamenco Xcaret Executive Chef, Alex Alcántara, Executive Chef at Blue Bay; Rubén Hernández, columnist for Reforma, El Universal and El Sol de México; Angelica Hernández, Co-Editor of the magazine The Gourmet.
The winners of the first four places in this culinary competition went to Punta Morro for the first place, Mision 19 on second, Capule on third and Casa Plascencia on fourth place.
